Situated in Les Gavarres mountains at 300 m above sea level, Golf D'Aro
has spectacular views of the Costa Brava including views to the Begur
lighthouse and the town of Sant Feliu de Guixols, as well as of Montseny
and the Selva Valley. The 15th tee has probably the best view of the entire complex. The fairways are lined with pines, cork oaks and
more than a thousand olive trees. Water comes into play via two large
artificial lakes. The diversity of the holes makes the golf course is very enjoyable. Its design requires great precision, especially when placing the ball off the tee. Most of the greens are quite large and fast. The course was built in 1990 and designed by Romon Espinosa.
