The Son Muntaner course opened in May 2000 and was designed by Kurt Rossknecht. It is located about 10 minutes from Palma. The Son Muntaner golf course is surrounded by a spectacular Mediterranean natural setting. Expansive fairways are lined with almond trees, carobs, pines and olives. Those who take up the challenge of Son Muntaner can experience a truly unique attraction on the 15th tee: "Sa Capitana" the thousand-year-old, oldest olive tree on Mallorca. Arabella Golf Academy:
Golf Sun Holidays offers golf lessons at the Arabella Golf Academy run by Natural Golf Management. Natural Golf Guidance is a teaching system based on what has already been learned in daily life and other sports making it a simple and effective way to learn to golf.
We offer:
• Private lessons - 10 hours(1-4 persons)
• Beginners course - 10 hours (5-10 persons, groups of 11+ persons)
•Play with the Pro - 9 or 18 holes (1-3 persons)
• A Taste of Golf - 2 hours - first contact with golf (5-10 persons, groups of 11+ persons)
•Certificate School -16 hours - proficiency certificate (2-4 persons)
• Half Day with the Pro - 4 hours, inclusive of green fee if requested (1-3 persons)

Environment:
As of the 1st of February Arabella Golf will no longer hand out plastic water bottles to golfers. They now have water fountains (both still and sparkling) installed on their courses, for guests to fill up their reusable water bottles. They can either bring their own bottles, or they can purchase an Arabella Golf Mallorca water bottle at the club house, for € 5 per bottle. This bottle is made of aluminum and is reusable, the bottles on sale have been cleaned and are ready to use immediately. The bottle carries the logos of courses, and for being environmentally friendly, golfers get to take home a nice souvenir!
